Sudhir Mishra and Vinod Chopra in Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro are memorable characters that have graced the silver screen for a long time. The film about Sudhir Mishra and Vinod Chopra in Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro is one of the most unforgettable characters in Bollywood and is known to be a film that was a big success story in the year 1983. It is an Indian comedy film which is directed by Kundan Shah and was produced by the NFDC or the National Film Development Corporation.

The movie is a dark and satirical comedy about the rampant corruption that is so apparent in the Indian political system, the press and business. The film stars the likes of great parallel film actors like Naseerudidn Shah, Ravi Baswani,Satish Shah,Pankaj Kapoor and Bhakti Barve, Vidhu Vinod Chopra and Neena Gupta along with a stellar cast of Satish Kaushik Deepak Qazir and Om Puri. The film won Kundan Shah the `1984 Indira Gandhi award for Best Film and it is rated by India Times as one of the Top 25 must watch movies of Bollywood.



The story revolves around the professional photographers Sudhir Mishra and Vinod Chopra who open a studio in the prestigious Haji Ali area and nurture a hope to run it successfully. After a sorry start and a disaster to begin with they are given work by the magazine editor of Khabardar. The magazine is a publication which exposes the lives of the rich and famous and the duo then start working with the editor Miss Shobha Singh. They also decide to enter their in a contest to win Rs 5000 and take a number of photographs in and around Bombay city.

In one of the photographs the two then see a man with a gun and upon dilating it they find that the killer is none other than the builder Tarneja. Sudhir Mishra and Vinod Chopra in Jaane Bhi Do Yaaro are those characters in Bollywood who are known for their splendid humour and incredible performances. Upon further investigation you find out that the municipal commissioner D`Mello had been murdered and his body was left in the bushes. But before the photographers locate the body out from the bushes it dissapears. The body is then possibly located and then Sudhir Mishra and Vinod Chopra.. Suddenly the body of the municipal commissioner and very strangely it disappears. The climax of the film is set upon a set which dramatizes the events of the Mahabharat and then it quite unceremoniously develops into the Salim and Anarkali love story.
