In the movie Mithun Chakraborty is seen to dance about and throw romance with Mr. Oberoi's daughter, Rita, who also helps him morally and emotionally to get a chance to express his talents in Disco.
The movie, Disco Dancer rose to new heights only with the good acting of Mithun Chakraborty, who perfectly portrayed the character of Jimmy, symbolizing the struggle for moral achievement in every common man.
