Himesh Reshammiya is one of the latest and popular singers in Bollywood. His father is the Gujarati music director Vipin Reshammiya and his mother is Madhu. This popular singer, composer, and actor was born on July 23, 1973. He decided to make a career in music when his elder brother died at the age of 11. The career of Himesh Reshammiya started in a production house. This house aired a few TV soaps on Zee TV and Doordarshan Ahmedabad.
He finished school at Hill Grange School in Peddar Road area of Mumbai. Himesh Reshammiya was the first Indian to perform at the Wembley Stadium in London when he performed in October 2006. His acting debut was in the movie Aap Ka Suroor - The Real Love Story. He scored the music for the movie which was released on June 29, 2007. It opened with 80 percent box office opening.
He met his best friend Prashant Chadha at Hill Grange School. He is the one responsible for directing Himesh's music videos from his private album Aap Kaa Surroor and Himesh's new look. He also did promotional videos for the movies Tom, Dick & Harry¸ Aashiq Banaya Aapne and Aksar.
When Himesh Reshammiya was 16 years old he started composing songs and started music direction. He has produced television serials for Zee TV like Amar Prem and Andaz. Himesh's first break came when he was approached by Salman Khan. He gave Himesh the chance of becoming a music director for the movie Bandhan with composer Anand Raj Anand.
Slowly he became friends with Salman Khan who is a famous Bollywood actor. He composed songs for a number of Salman starred movies. From then both have had successful movies like Dulhan Hum Le Jayenge, Ye Hai Jalwaa, Tere Naam and Pyar Kiya to Darna Kya.
He was able to develop his own unique style of music composition which is based on catchy techno beats and pop music. He also emphasizes on Indian melodic tunes in his songs. The most popular album of Himesh Reshammiya is Tere Naam.
