Nandana Sen played the role of an assistant to Anil Kapoor in the movie. Ravi's editing studio was everything to him. Both of them worked very hard to prove their existence in the industry. Anil Kapoor's wife's' role is played by Suchitra Krishnamurthy ( Sheela) who is a nagging wife and suspects her husband. She suspects that Ravi has a relation with his assistant.

One fine day Ravi was worn out with the daily complaints from his wife. Thereby he raises his hand and accidentally Sheela's head hits a wooden plank and she dies. Ravi acts very fast and moves her body from there before his children arrived. He also trickily takes his father-in-law to the police station to make a complaint. Boman Irani plays the role of a police officer who gradually suspects Ravi for the murder but couldn't find any reason.

The suspense, the thrill and unique portrayal of the characters make the film a must see for everyone. The movie doesn't seem to be a directorial debut of Jijy Philip. The music of the movie is done by Himesh Reshamiya. The music and the background scores are worth appreciation. My Wife's Murder is one of the best movies of Anil Kapoor as an actor.

Altogether, My Wife's Murder is a unique suspense thriller which portrays the potential of each character and blends it beautifully with the story.
