This Bollywood blockbuster was released on February 3, 2006. Aksar also includes the hit dance number "Jhalak Dikhlaja" which is sung by Himesh Reshammiya.

In the movie Aksar, the character Ricky played by Emraan Hashmi is a leading fashion photographer. He is a great womanizer and the movie begins when Ricky gets a call from Sheena played by Udita Goswami. She asks him to meet her in a gym. At the gym, Sheena gives her a piece of her mind as he had dumped her friend, Nisha played by Tara Sharma.

Nisha was very heartbroken and even attempted suicide. The movie shifts three years later when it shows Ricky holding an exhibition of his creations. But just before the exposition has started a millionaire, Rajveer aka Raj played by Dino Morea buys all his creations.



During the buy Raj makes a precondition to Ricky that he should make Sheena, Raj's wife fall in love with him. Ricky becomes confused as he fails to understand why Raj would hire him to get into an affair with his wife. Raj explains to Ricky that he wants his wife, Sheena to divorce him. This divorce can be possible only if Sheena loved another man.

In Aksar, Ricky leaves for London where Sheena and Raj live in a huge mansion. Slowly Ricky starts his job and after some delays Raj and Sheena begin a relationship. First the things go as planned. Raj discovers Ricky and Sheena in the bedroom but she doesn't feel guilty and considers not an issue. Sheena refuses to divorce Raj and even tells that she will continue her relationship with Ricky.

Raj becomes shocked and feels his plan has flopped miserably. When he realized that Sheena won't divorce, Raj asks Ricky to leave for India. But suddenly Ricky refuses to go as he likes the luxury and the company of a rich woman. This makes Raj more bewildered as he suspects of double crossing..

Meanwhile, Nisha goes to Raj's mansion to attend a party. After the party, Nisha is shown crying outside and claims that she was raped by Ricky. The movie takes a big turn when Sheena kills Ricky with a sword the next morning.

When the police investigate, they find Sheena as the prime suspect. While Sheena is being arrested, Raj declares that he is the killer. He is taken to jail and when he meets Sheena in jail, he transfers all his property in her name.

In the end in Aksar, the police return to the mansion and discover a camera which recorded the murder. Sheena is arrested and taken to jail; she later transfers her property to Raj's name. All these were planned by Raj as he removed all the cameras except this one. In the end it is shown Raj sitting with Nisha and as a token of his love, he gives her the property papers.
