Directed by Vikram Bhatt, Aaitbaar is a recent Bollywood movie starring Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham and Bipasha Basu. This film was released in the year 2004. This film was based on the story written by Vikram Bhatt. Robin Bhatt and Sanjeev Duggal have written the screenplay of this movie. On the other hand, the dialogues of the characters were written by Girish Dhamija. Rajesh Shah was the producer of this movie and the music was composed by Rajesh Roshan. Being a thriller movie, the film, Aaitbaar has shown excellent stunts, which are introduced by Abbas Ali Moghul.

The narrative of this film describes the nature of an over-protective father who wants to protect his daughter from any kind of mishaps. Here the role of the father is performed by the great Bollywood actor Amitabh Bachchan. On the other aspect of the film, a young guy loves the same girl but the obsessive nature of the boy makes the boy desperate to achieve his love. These two conditions are the crucial aspects of this film. John Abraham performed the role of the boy (Aryan) and Bipasha Basu performed the role of the girl (Ria).

In this film, the girl Ria wants to take all the decision of her life on her own but the possessive nature of her father resist her to do that. This conflict between the characters makes the film unusual among all the Bollywood thriller films. Some of the shots of this film were taken excellently. The encounter sequence between Bipasha and John is one of the stick-out sequences of the film, Aaitbaar.

In this film Amitabh Bachchan dextrously slips into the role of a very possessive father. There are several sequences in this film where Amitabh did not have any dialogue to say. Onlyhis facial expression counted. All the star cast of this film are really perfect for the film and they delivered mature acting throughout the film. In addition, John Abraham impresses the audiences with his twin personality act. Besides the acting of the characters, the cinematography and the other technical aspects of Aaitbaar are also up to the mark to bring out the thrill into the movie.
