Yes Boss narrates the aspirations, ambitions and dreams of all those people who dream big, want to be rich and reach the top. Produced by Umed Jain and Ratan Jain and directed by Aziz Mirza, Yes Boss is an out-of-the-way Bollywood romantic film. This film revolves around Rahul aka Shahrukh Khan who is extremely ambitious and has no qualms about helping his boss in earning extra bucks. Aditya Pancholi who plays his boss in the film is aware of Rahul's dreams and exploits him to get his way.

He had married a rich girl for her property, but continues his affair with several girls. It is Rahul's duty to manage everything and in the process he gets paid for hiding his boss's misdeeds and affairs from his wife and brother-in-law. Juhi Chawla enters the scene as Seema, an ambitious model. Siddharth asks for Rahul's help in this matter and in return promises him a lucrative offer. As the whole team goes for an outdoor shoot, Siddarth's wife comes to the spot and Seema is forced to play Rahul's wife to clear away all the suspicions.



Seema, who is highly impressed with Siddharth, believes all his lies including his plan of divorcing his wife and marrying her. She befriends Rahul and starts liking him. Gulshan Grover who is aware of Rahul's dreams, threatens to spill over the beans before Reema Lagoo, Rahul's mother suffering from cardiac disease. Both Rahul and Seema are forced to carry on the charade and are drawn towards to each other in the course. Although they are in love with each other, they decide to carry on with their separate lives.

After Siddharth gets to know about their feelings, he is hell bent to destroy Rahul. The film ends with a happy note where both Seema and Rahul realize that it is not money but love which brings happiness and contentment. They dream but want to achieve everything at a slow pace. The film is scripted by Mangesh Kilkarni, Aziz Mirza, and Sanjay Chel and the editing is done by Javed Sayyed. The melodious music by Jatin Lalit captures the attention of one and all and continues to please all the music lovers till now. Abhijeet won a Filmfare for Best Playback Singer for "Mein Koi Aisa Geet Gaoon". Yes Boss also received nominations in several categories including Best Lyrics and Best Villain.

Aziz Mirza who has been in the Bollywood film industry for quite some time is known to make socially relevant movies. This film is no exception which depicts the emotions and longings of all those people who aim to create something big in the dream city of Mumbai.
