Yeh Dillagi ranks among the popular Bollywood romantic movies. The movie was taken from the well known Hollywood Movie named Sabrina. Yeh Dillagi was released in the year 1994. It gained moderate success in the box office and made business in the overseas market also. The movie gained popularity because of its wonderful music, good plot construction and star cast.

The plot of Yeh Dillagi is a love story is a love story of two individuals. Sapna played by Kajol is the daughter of the driver of the renowned Saigal family. She is a simple and fun loving girl and has high aspirations in life. She dreams that she will be successful in life and will marry her dream man. Vijay Saigal and Vicky Saigal are main members of the Saigal business. Akshay Kumar plays Vijay Saigal`s role while Saif Ali Khan plays the role of Vicky Saigal.

The plot of Yeh Dillagi complicates when Sapna finds that both Vijay and Vicky have the qualities of being her dream man. Vijay is a workaholic while Vicky goes on flirting. In course of time, Sapna too becomes a successful model. Vicky and Sapna eventually fall in love. But Vicky`s mother Shanti Devi does not approve of the marriage. In her eyes, Sapna is still a simple girl coming from a driver`s family. She considers Sapna to be below her status. Vijay tries to minimize the tension but eventually realizes that he was fallen in love with Sapna as well.

The music of Yeh Dillagi was an added advantage. The music was composed by famous music duo Dilip Sen and Sameer Sen. There were 7 songs in the film, all of which were highly popular. The soothing music rocked the box office and the songs were chartbusters.

Yeh Dillagi also gained praise and acclaim. It won various awards. Akshay Kumar won the Filmfare Award for Best Actor while Kajol won the Best Actress award.
