Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam is a movie that deals with human relationships and emotions. The film stars Shahrukh Khan, Salman Khan and Madhuri Dixit. Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam is a popular movie that was released in the year 2002. The movie was directed by K.S. Adhiyamans and it was his debut film. He took almost six years to complete the film.
Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam shows the story of a girl called Radha. There are three male characters in her life whom she loves a lot. One is her husband Gopal, the other is her friend Suraj and the third person is his brother Prashant. While Shahrukh plays the role of Gopal, the character of Suraj is played by Salman Khan. Atul Kulkarni appears in the role of his brother. Though Gopal loves his wife very much, with the passage of time he develops hatred towards Radha's best friend Suraj. He also develops a kind of negative feeling for Prashant who lives with them after his marriage.
Radha shares a close relationship with Suraj who is a singer. Gopal on the other hand, wants complete attention from his wife. He gradually becomes suspicious towards the relationship between Suraj and Radha. Radha is finally driven out of the house though she still remains devoted to her husband. Gopal finally sends a divorce notice to her. Though Prashant and Suraj try to resolve the matter, she prevents them to do so. Finally a meeting is arranged and Suraj comes to know that he is the main reason for this broken relationship. He finally decides not to meet Radha any more. Suraj shares his entire problem with his ladylove Suman (Aishwarya Rai). She finally talks to Gopal and makes him understand.
Besides Shahrukh, Salman and Madhuri, other actors who appeared in the film are Suman Ranganathan, Aruna Irani, Laxmikant Berde, Alok Nath and a few others. Though the movie had some of the most successful actors of the industry, it was not a big hit.
The title track of the film 'Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam' has its tune taken from a Pakistani song called 'Boohey Bariyan'. The song of the movie was sung was Udit Narayan and Alka Yagnik. Despite its limited success, Hum Tumhare Hain Sanam remains one of the Bollywood Romantic Movies.
