Story of Aur Pyaar Ho Gaya

Ashi Kapoor played by Aishwarya Rai lives with his father and grandparents. Shammi Kapoor plays the role of Grandpa Kapoor and Shammi plays the role of Grandma Kapoor. Anupam Kher plays the role of Kailashnath Kapoor, Ashi`s father. The Kapoor family is shown to be very wealthy in the movie. Kalishnath fixes Ashi`s marriage with his friend`s son, Rohit Malotra who lives in Switzerland. He is the the owner of a garment shop there. She hasn`t seen Rohit before her marriage was fixed. She decides to fly to Switzerland alone and meet Rohit before she ties the knot with him.

When Ashi arrives in Switzerland she meets Bobby Oberoi played by Bobby Deol. Bobby likes Ashi so much that he introduces himself as Rohan Malotra. Ashi also falls for him. However, when he tells her the truth Ashi gets very angry. Nevertheless, Bobby wins her heart back . They come back to India. Beena plays the role of Bobby`s mother who is a bank manager. The Kapoor family and the Oberois meet and fix the marriage of Ashi and Bobby. However, as the wedding date approaches, Kalishnath was arrested for making illegal transactions with the bank where Beena was the manager. Beena cooperated with the police and said that Kalishnath was guilty. Kalishnath calls off the marriage. At the end everything is sorted out and Bobby and Ashi gets married.
