Koi Mil Gaya is one of the best movies that Bollywood has ever produced. Directed by Rakesh Roshan, this movie was praised for it's unique subject and filming. The movie was released in the year 2003. Koi Mil Gaya received the honours of being filmed at the DenmarkNat film Festival and Jerusalem Film Festivals respectively. The movie is still a favorite among children due to its excellent comic representations.
Koi Mil Gaya has a star studded appearance. Considered as one of the best movies of Hrithik Roshan, this movie portrayed his brilliant acting skills as a kid. Preity Zinta was the female lead along with the group of children who play Hrithik's friends. Hrithik Roshan played the character of Rohit, who was mentally underdeveloped. He was like a child in his talks and actions.
His friends also play an important role in highlighting his character. Rohit's mother was characterised by veteran actress of hindi film industry Rekha. Rakesh Roshan portrayed Rohit's father, Sanjay Mehra.
Koi Mil Gaya amused everybody, from very young to elderly people. Koi Mil Gaya is one of those hindi comedy movies that was really succesful. As the story proceeds, we see Rohit who looks like an adult but his actions are completely child like. His childlike behavior upsets and disturbs his mother. The movie is twisted with the arrival of an alien called Jadoo. Rohit, who was considered weak and incapable of doing things that others did properly, befriends Jadoo and receives his powers. Interesting things happen after this. In a football match Rohit and his team play opposite other boys who mock him. He leaps and jumps with Jadoo's magical powers which amazes the onlookers. He almost flies like a superman and the other team looks flabbergasted. There is a lot of other comedy that happens later on.
When Rohit does incredible things everyone is surprised, so is the audience. Other characters like Johnny Lever adds to the comedy of the movie. Rohit likes Nisha, even before he receives the powers. Scenes where Rohit feels shy infornt of Nisha is very comic, as Nisha takes him to be just a kid. He tries to impress hard on Nisha. Scenes where he tries to dance is extremely funny as it was totally a flop endeavor. Bollywood movies has a huge audience. As a comedy movie this movie fares well, specially with the kids who loved Rohit and Jadoo for their innocence and funny characters.
