Khel is an out an out comedy film directed by Rakesh Roshan. The film starred Anil Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit as the lead pair. The on-screen chemistry between the duo was superb. The supporting cast of the film includes Anupam Kher, Mala Sinha, Sonu Walia, Prem Chopra, Dinesh Hingoo and others. This film is a remake of 'Dirty Rotten Scoundrels.' Khel was released in the year 1992.

Plot summary of Khel:
Khel is primarily about three people, Arun played by Anil Kapoor, Seema played by Madhuri Dixit and Anupam Kher. The film starts off with Mala Sinha's son Virendra Ghatge. He met with a severe car accident and dies. He leaves behind his unmarried wife Kamini, who was pregnant during that time. Kamini visits Mala Sinha and narrates the whole incident. But Mala Sinha was not ready to believe any of her words. She rejects Kamini. With no option left with her, she leaves for the city to her friend, where she delivers a baby.



Then the story of the film moves to several years. The audience is introduced to Arun a local hooligan. He earns his living by fooling people. Seema is a dancer at a restaurant and her uncle played by Anupam Kher does similar thing as that of Arun to make a living. They hear that Tara Jai Singh, played by Sonu Walia, will donate money for the physically challenged and the crippled at Sitamgarh. Arun goes to Sitamgarh with the intention of making money. There he meets Doctor Jadi Boti and Doctor Khat Patia. They are actually Madhuri Dixit and Anupam Kher in disguise. They threaten him to stay away from the whole affair. However, Arun manages to dupe everyone to get the whole money. The rest of the film informs us about Mala Sinha, what she came to know about Kamini and her son and whether the trio take up another challenge or not.

Music of Khel:
Rajesh Roshan's music is very soothing. The sound track "Sune Sham Savere" by Amit Kumar is very impressive. The cinematography of the song is equally good. It also incorporates comic element within it. Other songs include "Na Hai Zameen, Na Aasman" and "Khat Likhna Hai". The songs have been shot in picturesque locales of Kenya and South Africa.

Khel is a complete entertainer. Rakesh Roshan was able to create a clean comedy. From the beginning till the end, the audience never gets bored while watching the movie.
