Story of the Film Good Boy, Bad Boy:
Set in a college campus, the Good Boy, Bad Boy deals with two young men, Rajan (Tussar Kapoor) and Raju (Emraan Hashmi). Though they share the same surname, Malhotra, they are as different from each other as chalk and cheese. While, Rajan is a bookworm, barely having a life outside his books, Raju is a regular class bunker and studies are the last thing on the earth for him. Both of them live their own lives, without coming in the way of each other.

Things were going hunky dory, when their identity cards get swapped because of a misfiling in the college. This leads to a lot of confusion, as both Rajan and Raju are called by the same initial R. Malhotra. All of a sudden, the studious and shy boy Rajan is mistaken with the mischievous and notorious Raju. The problem of mistaken identity also reflects in their exam results.

The plot thickens with the entry of the two beauteous dames, Tanushree Dutta and Isha Sharvani. Isha Sharvani plays the role of a coy and studious girl who approaches Raju, unknowingly and the latter falls for her. Tanushree Dutta, on the other hand, plays the role of a not-so-good girl who likes playing with simple guys. Rajan soon falls in her trap.

Finally, the two guys Rajan and Raju confront each other and the entire confusion is solved. They also learn to mend their ways.

The film Good Boy, Bad Boy works on the classic concept of comedy of mistaken identity with a difference. Ashwini Choudhary impresses with a slick storyline that lends a smart look to the modern day comedy. Emraan Hashmi exposes his flair for comedy in the film. He has a brilliant sense of comic timing. Himesh Reshammiya has composed a few foot tapping scores for the film Good Boy, Bad Boy.
