"Baton Baton Mein" is a very popular Bollywood comedy movie. It is supposed to be a milestone in the history of Indian comedy films. "Baton Baton Mein" was directed by ace director Basu Chatterjee. The film was released in 1979. It is best remembered for the brilliant performances by the actors. Noted music composer Rajesh Roshan has scored the music of the film. The haunting tunes of the film are certainly worth being appreciated. The lead actors of the film include:

You will certainly enjoy watching all the comedy sequences of the film. The most important aspect of the film is its extraordinary direction. The director has turned a simple story into a captivating presentation. It keeps the viewers glued to the screen till the very end.
The lead female character of the film Tina Munim plays the role of a young woman called Nancy. She has developed hatred against men for their false promises and flirtatious nature. She had a bad experience before. This experience has infuriated her.
Tina Munim lives with her mother Rosie and a younger brother. As she grew up, her mother wanted to get her married. She wants to get Nancy married as soon as possible. There is an important character of Uncle Tom played by David Abraham. He is Rosie`s brother. Uncle Tom lives with his wife in the neighborhood of his sister Rosie. Nancy and Uncle Tom go to work every day together.
After the viewers are introduced to the characters of Nancy, Rosie and Uncle Tom, the story takes another turn. Now, the viewers are introduced with the male lead character Tony Braganza. This character is played by versatile actor, Amol Palekar. This character is very simple. He always abides by the orders of his mother. That is why he is known as his mummy`s boy.
The character of Nancy played by Tina Munim is in sharp contrast to the character of Tony played by Amol Palekar. Tony`s mother treats him like a little boy. He remains the same until he meets Nancy while coming back from duty. Nancy and Uncle Tom are traveling in the same train in which Tony is traveling.
Tony sets his eyes on Nancy without taking a wink. Both Nancy and Uncle Tom grow curious about him and want to know about him. They invited Tony to have a drink at the next station. Then, it is revealed that Tony is a cartoonist and he works in the office a newspaper. Then a relationship between Tony and Nancy starts and it culminates in their union.
