Race is a Bollywood blockbuster, which will captivate you with power-packed performances by Saif Ali Khan and Akshaye Khanna . The much hyped Abbas-Mustan`s Race hit the theaters on 21st March, 2008.

Story of Race

Saif Ali Khan plays the role of Ranvir Singh and Akshaye Khan plays that of Rajeev Singh. Ranvir and Rajeev are two half brothers who have their own stud farm in Cape Town in South Africa.

The two brothers are bookies in the game of horse racing. Ranvir Singh is the older brother, who can go to any extent to win. Rajeev Singh is the younger sibling who is a spoilt, angry young man addicted to alcohol.

Sophia played by Katrina Kaif is Saif`s personal secretary and is apparently in love with her boss. Saif trusts his secretary in handling business matters, though he doesn`t have any feelings for her. Sonia played by Bipasha Basu is a ravishingly beautiful model in Cape Town, who awaits Ranvir Singh`s proposal of marriage. Due to an unexpected turn of events, Bipasha gets married to Akshaye. Then as the story proceeds, a murder takes place.

Anil Kapoor plays the role of Robert D` Costa who is a private detective hired to solve the murder mystery. With his secretary Mini played by Sameera Reddy, Anil Kapoor unravels the mysteries surrounding the murder. Anil Kapoor seems to be an idiot eating fruits while interrogating people. However, he is sharp and fast in cracking mysteries. Mini is a dumb and attractive girl who bothers her boss with silly questions.

The evil traits in the character, Rajeev will strike you and so will the rivetting performance by Akshaye. The twists and turns of the plot will also keep you hooked to your chair till the end of the movie. Even the music scores by Pritam and the dance sequences are popular with the moviegoers. The glam star, Bipasha also showcases her acting prowess in this movie.

Saif Ali Khan also gives a powerful performance in the film Race. With its interesting plot, action sequences and mesmerizing music, this movie is worth watching.
