As a matter of fact, this film happens to be a Bollywood suspense thriller movie. The director of this Bollywood film was Abbas Mustan while the producer of Khiladi was Girish Jain. The dialogue for this film has been written by Aadesh K. Arjun while the screenplay is done by S. Khan. S. Khan is also the writer of the story of Khiladi.

Khiladi that stars great Bollwood actors like Akshay Kumar, Ayesha Jhulka, Deepak Tijori, Sabeeha, Prem Chopra, Anant Mahadevan and Johnny Lever, has a really very interesting and suspense creating storyline. Though the film starts with an apparent light mood, things turn to be serious a while later. All the mysteries and suspense are revealed at the end of the film.

The story of Khiladi goes like this. Raj Malhotra played by Akshay Kumar, is a college student. He has two very good friends, Boney and Sheetal. Raj falls in love with Neelam, played by Ayesha Jhulka, who is a newcomer to the college. After the initial rejections, Neelam starts reciprocating the love advances of Raj.

The thrill of Khiladi starts when the two couples hit a plan to play a prank on Kailash Nath, played by Prem Chopra, the wealthy father of Sheetal. They decided to get away secretly for a few days informing Sheetal's father that she had been kidnapped, and she would be released after a big amount of ransom was given. In that case, they would be able to get some money that they could use for themselves. Their attitude to this plan made it clear that they had no evil intension.

Everything went all right with the plans of these four youngsters until a disaster messed up everything. After taking the ransom from Kailash Nath, they returned to the deserted cottage where they lived for these days, and found Sheetal stabbed on the back and dead. The police being informed by Kailash start investigating, and coincidentally, the police in charge of this case is Suresh, the brother of Raj.

In the process, the more the two friends, Raj and Boney try to get out of the web of conspiracy, the more they get entangled. They ultimately find out that someone is conspiring against them. Anyhow, they ultimately prove to be innocent and the culprit is arrested.
