Hanste Zakhm is a popular action Bollywood movie directed and produced by famous director Chetan Anand. The movie has some great musical scores composed by late music composer Madan Mohan. The star castings of the movie include Navin Nischol, Balraj Sahni, Priya Rajvansh, Nadira, Kamal Kapoor and others. The movie was released in 1973, and did well at the box office.
Storyline of Hanste Zakhm: Mahendru, played by Balraj Sahni, lives with his young daughter Chanda. Mahendru is a top police officer. Rekha is another character in the movie who is Chanda's best friend and is the daughter of a prostitute. The pimp tries to bring Rekha to the same profession of prostitution when Rekha's mother kills the pimp by accident in self defence. Abandoned Rekha begin to stay with Chanda and her father. However, the pimp makes a plan to kidnap Rekha and bring her back to the brothel. Unfortunately, the goons kidnap Chanda by mistake.
The pimp after realizing his mistake claims for a ransom from Mahendru, the price to release Chanda. Mahendru borrows the money, but the pimp deceives him and delivers Rekha to a Madam played by Nadira. Chanda is physically beaten up to become a prostitute. The character is played by Priya Rajvansh. Chanda and Somesh, played by Navin Nischol eventually falls into love. However, he was slated to marry Rekha. At the end of the movie, Chanda realized she is the real daughter of Mahendru. Chanda gets killed by the pimp. Before dying Chanda asks Somesh to marry Rekha. Somesh keeps her last word and marries Rekha.
Songs from the movie Hanste Zakhm: The movie has some great music composed by the famous Bollywood music composer, Madan Mohan. The lyrics of the songs are written by Kaafi Asmi.
