Plot of Desh Premi
The plot of Desh Premi is highlighted with the plight of a father who was took an active part in the freedom struggle of India. Master Dinanath however, feels sad to witness the state of India after its independence. Selfish people like Thakur Pratap Singh are engaged in illicit business and illegal trafficking of arms. Their attempts create more and more anti socials within the society.
A freedom fighter that Dinanath is, protests against the activities of Thakur. Thkaur Pratap Singh kidnaps his wife and children to force him to fall in line. As the two families are separated poverty spreads its menacing hands on the family. The mother is unable to meet the demands of the children. Dinanath`s son joins the antisocial gang run by Thakur.
Dinanath on the other hand is part of a community that resembles the country itself. With people from all religion and sects residing in the village, Dinanath notices a lack of unity among the villagers. He resolves the conflicts among the people but longs to meet his family. Desh Premi has a conclusion that teaches the entire country to remain united and follow the path of truth and fortitude.
