Musical career of Shantanu Moitra in Bollywood

Shantanu Moitra started off his musical career in this industry as a popular composer for Indipop albums. Two of his most successful albums were Mann Ke Manjeere and Ab Ke Saawan. People still remember those songs and feel groovy with the tapping numbers.

He received his primary breakthrough in the Bollywood film industry with the movies Leela and Hazaaron Khwaishen Aisi. Both the movies brought about a completely different style, which appealed to the masses. His tremendous efforts were understandable from the unique musical compositions.

In 2002, with the release of Parineeta's music, Shantanu Moitra soared to immense recognition and limelight. His Bengali culture and music reflected through the melodious music of Parineeta.
