Personal life of Bappi Lahiri: Bappi Lahiri first came to Mumbai at the age of 19 years. He emerged as a music composer in the Nanha Shikari released in 1973. The major break to his career came when he composed music for the film Zakhmee released in 1975 and directed by Tahir Husain. He also did playback in this movie. After the release of the songs of his next movie Chalte Chalte there was no turning back for Bappi Lahiri. Almost all the songs composed by him became smash hit and won the heart of his fans. Bappi Lahiri is married to Chitrani and have a son called Bappa and a daughter called Rema.
