The Devi 70MM in Andhra Pradesh was founded by industrialist Dr T Nandagopal. He is famous for Devi ceiling fans in the state. The movie hall is maintained and owned by Mr. Nandagopal. The movie hall was inaugurated by the then Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh T.Anjaiah in 1981. The first movie screened here was Taxi Driver. The movie hall has a Dolby Digital Surround Ex sound system with excellent sound effects.
