Zayed Khan is one of new actors to enter the world of Indian films. With his great looks, he has made quite an impression on the young audiences and has quite a female fan following. Born on 5th July, 1980, India, Zayed Khan comes from a family who has a strong connection with the film industry. He is the son of erstwhile Bollywood actor Sanjay Khan and his cousin Fardeen Khan is also a popular contemporary actor. Zayed Khan has studied at the London Film School in London, UK before he joined Bollywood. He is one of the younger generation of actors, who show some potential of making it big in the industry.

Zayed Khan`s Film Career
Zayed Khan made his debut in Bollywood in 2003 with the film Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne starring opposite actress Esha Deol. Though this film did not well commercially, he still got another break in the film Main Hoon Na. In this film he shared screen space with current superstar Shah Rukh Khan. With Main Hoon Na becoming a box office success, Zayed Khan rose to fame and was counted among the popular Bollywood stars. His next release Dus (2005) also a hit and further enhanced his popularity.



The other films of Zayed Khan include Shaadi No.1, Shabd, Vaada, Rocky: The Rebel, Cash and Speed among others. There are few other films that Zayed Khan is working on at the moment and a some are ready for release in the 2008. The films that are yet to release include Happy New Year (film), Mission Istanbul, and Main Yuvraj.

Personal Life of Zayed Khan
Zayed Khan is married to Malaika Parekh, who was his longtime girlfriend since their school days. The young couple got married on 20th November, 2005 and are now the proud parents of a baby boy. His wife gave birth this year on 18th January, 2008 and has been named Zidaan Zayed Abbas Khan after the famous soccer player of France, Zinedine Zidane.

Awards won by Zayed Khan
Since his entry into the Bollywood film industry, Zayed Khan has received two award so far. These include Filmfare Best Supporting Actor Award for Main Hoon Na in 2005 and Zee Cine Award Best Male Debut- Male for Chura Liyaa Hai Tumne in 2004. With both these awards the actor made a strong foothold in the industry and continues work hard on his performances.
