Hrithik Roshan was born on 10th of January 1974.He has to his credit 5 Filmfare Awards and other awards.

Hrithik Roshan`s acting career shot off from his childhood itself when he acted as a child actor for several films in the 1980s. However, he made his debut as a leading actor with the movie Kaho Naa Pyaar Hai in 2000 which turned to be a major blockbuster and he was awarded the Best Actor and Best Debut Filmfare awards. He wowed the audience with his stunning performances in like Koi Mil Gaya (2003), its sequel Krrish (2006) and Dhoom 2 (2006) each of which earned him numerous prestigious awards.



The film Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai which was directed by Hrithik`s father and the music was given by his uncle, was entered in the Limca Book of Records in the year 2003 for being the single bollywood movie to win so many awards. Bollywood actor-Hrithik Roshan next starred in the movie Fiza which was critically acclaimed. He was nominated for the best actor for this movie. His third movie Mission Kashmir was also received satisfactorily well.

However Hrithik Roshan`s next venture Yaddein proved to be a disaster. He was reborn with the multi starrer movie Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham. He was nominated for the Best Supporting actor in several award ceremonies and earned a lot of critical praise. After a series of unsuccessful releases like Mujhse Dosti Karoge!, Na Tum Jaano Na Hum and Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage, Hrithik Roshan made a flashing come back with the sci-fi movie Koi... Mil Gaya which proved to be the highest grosser of the year and he was showered with numerous Awards, including Filmfare Best Actor Award and Filmfare Best Actor Critics Award. He is noted for his performances in Lakshya, Krrish and Dhoom2, the last two of which were super blockbusters and won him several awards.
