Anil Kapoor is one of the most popular men in Bollywood film industry. He has own National Award several times for his huge contributions in Hindi movies. He was born in Mumbai on 24th December in 1959. He is the son of Surinder Kapoor and Suchitra Kapoor. He has taken part in many of the hit Bollywood movies and made the characters immortal. Anil Kapoor began his work with Hamare Tumhare, a film by Umesh Mehra. This film was released in the year 1979 and Anil Kapoor played for a side role character in this movie. He played a role of hero for the first time in the year 1983 in a film called Pallavi Anu Pallavi. This was a Kannada movie and he drew the attention of many directors through this film. Mashaal was the drama directed by Yash Chopra in which Anil Kapoor displayed his excellent talent of acting. Then came the brilliant role in Mr. India. This film released in 1987 and it was directed by Shekhar Kapur. This was the movie which made him popular throughout the country.
In 1988, his brilliant performance was seen in the movie Tezaab. This film brought him the Filmfare Best Actor Award. Parinda and Ram Lakhan are two other best films of his which were released in the next year. He surprised the Indian audience in the year 1990 by his excellent double role in the film titled as Kishen Kanhaiya. Yash Chopra's Lamhe showed Anil's role in romantic character. Lamhe was a huge success not only in India but also in other countries in the Occident.
The second Filmfare Best Actor Award came to Anil Kapoor with the film Beta in the year 1992. This film was directed by Indra Kumar. Famous actress Madhuri Dixit played the opposite role. Among the other famous films one can easily mention the names of Deewana Mastana, Judaai, Biwi No.1, Taal, Hum Aapke Dil Mein Rehte Hain and many others. All these films released in the 90s. Anil Kapoor also proved to be evergreen when he mesmerized the audience with films like Welcome. In this new millennium he also acted as a producer in many great movies.
