Amitabh Bachhan is one of the most popular male actors in Bollywood and the reigning superstar who has been the epitome of perfection ever since he entered tinsel town in 1969. He is the biggest star of Indian cinema and in the century ending BBC 1999 millennium survey he was voted the Star of Millennium. Amitabh Bachhan started his film career in 1969 with the film Saat Hindustani for which he had won his first National Film Award for best new comer. The 1970s took

In 1996, the superstar set up his production company and named it
Amitabh Bachhan Corporation, Ltd. (A.B.C.L.). The company went into several legal battles and a huge financial crisis and was later declared a failed company by Indian Industries board. In spite of this crisis Amitabh Bachhan managed to give his career another chance and stepped up to host India`s television game-show called Kaun Banega Crorepati (KBC).
The show became a huge success and reinstated Bachhan`s popularity following which he started his second innings in Bollywood with bigger and better roles and continues to offer pleasant surprises to his millions of fans worldwide. Today you cannot think about Bollywood without
