Rakesh Roshan is one of the most promising directors of the present generation. The director was a popular actor. He is the son of the famous music director Roshan. Rakesh Roshan started his career as an actor and added more feathers by directing several successful movies.

Rakesh was involved in the production and direction of several other films. The lists of these films include Khel, King Uncle and Koyla. The films directed by Rakesh Roshan usually starts with the alphabet "K". Rakesh Roshan's movie Kaho Naa Pyar Hai entered the Limca Book of Records for the reputation of winning maximum number of awards.
Rakesh Roshan's forthcoming film is called Krazzy4. The movie is produced by Rakesh Roshan and directed by Jaideep Sen. The movie is about to release in 11th April, 2008. The movie revolves around four characters that bear the light for humanity. The movie stars Juhi Chawla, Arsaad Warsi and Dia Mirza.
Rakesh Roshan was honored with a number of awards for his contribution to Indian cinema. His contribution to main stream cinema owed him an award at the International Film Festival of India (IFFI) in Panaji on December 3, 2006. He also won the award on December 11, 2006 in the Global Indian Film Awards (GIFA). Apart from these he won several other awards for his successful movies. He won the Filmfare awards, Star Screen Awards, Sansui Film Awards, IIFA Awards and Zee Cine Awards. He was also honored with awards in the Aashirwaad Awards, Apsara Awards and Anandalok Awards.
