Priyadarshan, a famous film director, is a prominent figure in the Mumbai film industry. This well-known film maker is highly influenced by Mickey Mouse, Laurel and Hardy and Charlie Chaplin. Priyadarshan also had been awarded for his great contribution to film industry in Mumbai. He has received awards from state as well as Central government for his films. In the year of 1995, he won the Kerala State Award for best direction. For the film 'Kalapaani', he has bagged 4 National Awards.
