It was the best opportunity and Pradeep Sarkar made the most of it. His other releases after Parineeta include Eklavya: The Royal Guard and Laaga Chunari Mein Daag. In Eklavya, Pradeep Sarkar had Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan as one of the main leads apart from Saif Ali Khan and Vidya Balan. His next movie 'Laaga Chunari Mein Daag' saw him working with leading ladies like Rani Mukherjee and Konkona Sen.
