People all over the world agree that Bollywood film industry has been gifted with some talented actors throughout its reign. The modern age female actors have learnt a lot from the Popular Female Actors in Bollywood of the early 50`s. Nutan is a gem which Bolywood has found out when it needed the most. This famous actress was born on June 4, 1936 and started her career as an actress in Hamari Beti (1950) when she was in her 14 summers. Her reputation as a fine actor grew in the early 50`s. Actor Nutan was blessed with all the ingredients required for being a successful actor. This beautiful lady won the Miss India pageant in 1952.

Besides her glamour, Nutan used to attract the viewers by her charming presence. Since her first big hit `Seema` for which she won a Filmfare Award, her great run continued as she starred in various films built in close imitation of romantic comedy genre. Although she did not have a pleasant childhood, she continued with her consistency and kept on performing in some of the rewarding films like, Paying Guest, Anari (with Raj Kapoor) and Bimal Roy`s Sujata (with Sunil Dutt), were some of the early films which reported smash hits in the box office.



Even after getting married to naval Lieutenant-Commander Rajnish Behl on October 11, 1959, Nutan gifted some praise worthy performances during 1960s and 1970s. Successful films like, Chhalia (1960), Bandini (1963), Saraswatichandra (1968), Devi (1970) and Main Tulsi Tere Aangan Ki (1978) gave the Indians something to boast about Bollywood. Nutan of Bollywood still covers a wide area left open to explore. Even in the last stages of her acting career, she acted in the films like, Meri Jung (1985), Naam (1986) and Karma (1986). Her glorious acting career came to an end with her sad demise in February 21, 1991, at the age of 54. The enticing beauty and unfailing brilliance of acting made people explore about Nutan as a person.
