When the elders of the family decide to get Nisha married to Rajesh, she decides to sacrifice her love for her deceased sister`s child.

He is also highly credited for creating the much loved pair of Nisha and Prem that will stay in the audience hearts forever. The movie elaborately displays the Indian marriage and customs.
