Parimal & Sulekha, Chupke Chupke are one of the famous reel life couples in Hindi films. They are the lead pair of the popular Hindi film Chupke Chupke. Chupke Chupke was a highly acclaimed Hindi film which was released in the year 1975. The film was directed by renowned director Hrishikesh Mukherjee. It won huge success at the box office and was praised for its plot and music. The reel life chemistry between Parimal & Sulekha, Chupke Chupke really added color to the movie.
The cast of Chupke Chupke consisted of well known actors. The movie starred popular Hindi film actors like Amitabh Bachchan, Sharmila Tagore, Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan, Om Prakash and others. The music was composed by renowned music director S.D. Burman. Dharmendra played the role of Parimal while Sharmila Tagore was cast in the role of Sulekha. The main plot of Chupke Chupke revolves around Parimal and Sulekha. Parimal is the professor of Botany and he falls in love with Sulekha and they eventually marry each other. Parimal is expert in playing pranks and the couple devise upon a humorous plan. Sulekha is due to visit her bother in laws house. The family of the brother in law has never met Parimal. Parimal banks upon this opportunity and decides to play a prank on the brother in law. He decides to disguise himself as a Hindustani driver and takes a job in the brother in law's house. He names himself as Pyaremohan Illahbadi.
Sulekha pretends that she is not happy with her marriage with Parimal. She eventually puts up an impression that she is having an affair with Pyaremohan Illahbadi. Pyaremohan always tries to play prank with Raghavendra (brother in law) by speaking in Hindi. Parimal tells his long time friend Sukumar Sinha to act as Parimal when he is in disguise. Sukumar eventually falls in love with Vasudha and marries him. Parimal reveals his true identity and the film ends in a humorous and happy note.
Parimal & Sulekha, Chupke Chupke play an important role as the film revolves around them. The funny sequences created by them add color to the film and is plot. The pranks lead to funny mishaps in the film. Both Dharmendra and Sharmila Tagore won acclaim due to their wonderful acting. The music was also memorable and won plenty of awards and critical acclaim.
