Anupam Kher had started out his career as a debutant in the movie Aagman in the year 1982. She had a son Sikander from her previous marriage. Both instantly found what they had been looking for in each other, a perfect life partner. Anupam`s talent along with an aggressive desire to win acclaim and Kiron`s lively outlook towards life made them the perfect combination.

Today, Kiron has made a great name for herself as a successful theater actor. The couple also has started their own production company which has given out a number of commercial and art films. Kiron Kher has also tried her hand in film acting and has proved herself as an equally good actress on television as on the stage. Her roles in movies like Rituparno Ghosh`s "Bariwali" and Sanjay Leela Bhansali`s "Devdas" brought her instant fame. Their son Sikander Kher is also standing on the threshold of starting his career in Hindi movies.
