Ganesh Hegde is one of the ace Bollywood choreographers. He has worked hard to build a platform for himself in the Hindi film industry. He was born in the year 1974 in Mumbai in the state of Maharashtra, India. He has also sung for his album. Ganesh Hegde, today is one of the popular Hindi Film Choreographers.

He has also choreographed for the Oscar nominated film Lagaan. This film starred Aamir Khan and was directed by Ashutosh Gowarikar. He has also worked for several stage shows. One of these stage shows is Temptations 2004. This show was staged in various parts of America. Many well known Bollywood stars were a part of this concert. Some of the stars who were a part of this show include Shah Rukh Khan, Preity Zinta, Arjun Rampal, Rani Mukherjee and Saif Ali Khan.

Hegde has also done the choreography of the first sequence of Michael Jackson`s show in this country. He has also been working with the Zee Cine Awards as well as Filmfare Awards for several years. He has also sung and choreographed the promo song for a television reality show named Kaun Banega Crorepati (second edition).



In the year 2005 Hegde cut his first album named "G". He has produced, written, directed as well as starred in this album for the solo song "Main Deewana".

Ganesh Hegde has also worked as a music director for a film named Ram Gopal Varma Ki aag (which released in the year 2007.

Ganesh Hegde has choreographed several Hindi films and he has won several accolades for his work. He has choreographed songs for films like Saawariya, My Name Is Anthony Gonsalves and Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag in the year 2007. He has also choreographed many famous songs of Don - The Chase Begins Again in the year 2006. In the year 2003 he choreographed dance numbers for films like Koi Mil Gaya, Khushi and Dum. He received huge accolades for his work in these films.

Maine Dil Tujhko Diya, Aap Mujhe Achche Lagne Lage, Company and Aankhen which released in 2002 were all choreographed by him. Similarly in the year 2001 films like Indian, Lagaan, Pyaar Tune Kya Kiya, One 2 Ka 4 and Grahan were choreographed by Hegde. In 2000 Fiza and Hera Pheri were the two films he worked for. Bandhan in 1998, Deewana Mastana in the year 1997 and Khamoshi - The Musical in 1996 were the films with which Hegde started his career as a choreographer in Hindi cinema.

Ganesh Hegde is among the young Hindi film choreographers who are here to stay.
