Ganesh Acharya has worked for several Hindi movies. Some of his movies include Race, Rama Rama Kya Hai Dramaaa, Sunday and Halla Bol in the year 2008. He has choreographed Dhamaal, Kaisay Kahein, Chak De India, Aap Ka Surroor - The Movie, Swami, Ek Chalis Ki Last Local, Nehlle Pe Dehlla and Risk in the year 2007.

In the year 2006 he choreographed for some of the movies named Bhagam Bhag, Lage Raho Munnabhai, Jaane Hoga Kya and Omkara, Phir Hera Pheri, 36 China Town, Hum Ko Deewana Kar Gaye and Rang De Basanti.



Dosti - Friends Forever, Main Aisa Hi Hoon, Deewane Huye Paagal, Khamosh - Khauff Ki Raat, Garam Masala, Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya, Blackmail and Insan were some of the films of 2005 in which he choreographed several songs.

Some of the films he choreographed in 2004 include Ab Tumhare Hawale Watan Sathiyo, Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa, Aabra Ka Daabra, Kuchh Kaha Aapne, Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Taarzan - The Wonder Car, Chot, Run, Aan - Men At Work, Woh Tera Naam Tha, Khakee and Tu Bal Brahmachari Main Hu Kanya Kunwari.

Similarly he had choreographed songs for several films from 1998 to 2003.

Ganesh Acharya: Awards and Nominations
Ganesh Acharya won Filmfare award for best choreography in the year 2007 for the film Omkara. This film released in the year 2006 and the song for which he got this award was "beedi jalaile".

He was also nominated for Best Choreography in Screen Weekly Award in the year 2002. The film he was nominated for is Lajja which released in 2001. The song for which he was nomnated was "Badi Mushkil".

He was again nominated for Best Choreography by Zee Cine Awards in the year 2005. He was nominated for the song "Aisa Jadoo Daala Re" from the film Khakee which released in the year 2004.

Ganesh Acharya has acted in many Hindi movies. He made a special appearance for the film Ghatak which released in the year 1996. He appeared in the song "Koi Jaaye To Le Aye". He gain made a special appearance in the film Road which released in 2002. He did the song "Khullam Khulla" with Koena Mitra in this film. He did a guest appearance in the film Koi Hai which released in 2003. He made another special appearance for the film Jalwa - Fun In Love which released in the year 2005. His dance number in several films have been gone to become chart busters of the time.
