Empowerment of Indian Women

Submited by- Iti on 2013-05-30 11:41:42    LIFESTYLE

lsquo; If you educate a man you educate an individual but if you educate a woman you educate a family.rsquo; nbsp; This is nbsp;a renowned maxim by Ghanaian scholar Dr. James Emmanuel Kwegyir Aggrey. Simply it illustrates the fact that women in any part of the world form the core of the society. Women contribute a lot in the formation of a society but their contribution is always overlooked. The 20th and 21st century saw women rising to power. Until the 19th and earlier 20th century women were looked down upon as incapable of doing anythingnbs... Read More...

nbsp;A Truly Interesting storyhellip;! The Taj hotel group had invited Mr. Masai Imai from Japan to hold a workshop for its staff. The staff were very skeptical- the hotel is doing excellent business, this person from Japan has no exposure to hotel industry- what exactly is he going to teach? But everybody as planned gathered for the workshop in the conference hall sharp at 9 am. Mr. Masai was introduced to them- a not so impressive personality, nor the English all that good; spoke as if he was first formulating each sentence in Japanese... Read More...

Last week, Anne-Marie Slaughter, Hillary Clinton's most senior policy adviser, wrote a heartfelt cover story for The Atlantic magazine entitled Why Women Still Can't Have It All, explaining why, after two years, she gave ...
