My name is Lalitha and I have been married for the last 3 months to be
precise. The topic I have chosen is most apt to write about since the
work/life balance issues have started taking a lot of importance in my
life post marriage. I used to be this happy go lucky working women,
spending almost 14 hours a day at work and commuting, (uff!! the traffic
these days)an affectionate mom feeding me the moment I step into the
house, so life was one big SONG. Post July 16th (my wedding day)this
year there has been a 360 degree role reversal (Here I must say I am
blessed to be married to a great guy!!, lest you think I am complaining
about an unhappy marriage). My inner most fear the moment I got engaged
to be married was how am I going to manage work and home (my phobia was
cooking by the way !!...I do take recipes from the net now..such a
blessing). So I made this time table which I hoped would take me through
the motions of cooking, cleaning, commuting and managing my career
(Initially I thought it was impossible). But LO!!! though the first
month into married life was gruelling (I was in tears ..missing parents,
new place to live et all.) But today I may confidently say, I cook,
commute and manage my career beautifully with a bit of help from my
hubby dearest and my fairly angel (my daily help) Lakshmi!! I must say
from my very own experience that Women are born jugglers... Yes. Or
shall we say Women are Priceless !!! PS: By the Way Sitagita.com helps
me with most of my relationship and recipe issues :)
