Let me be honest about it, this is my first blog. Ive never blogged before, even though I have been sorely tempted to put my thoughts down. Never mustered up the guts I guess. So now you are going to ask me, why now?

Ive been browsing sitagitas womens blogs, and I find that they encourage viewers to blog by publishing their blogs online. I was greatly encouraged to see that they dont discard the blogs viewers send in. They actually show them online and give us women a chance to speak our minds out. You dont really have to be a seasoned writer or blogger, even novices have had their blogs published online. So I thought, why not! Im going to be the first to blog about Womens Blogs!

I think its great that we have a platform here to air our thoughts, whether they are about love, marriage, parenting, work, in laws or just ramblings. Its important to get things off ones chest, and here we have an opportunity to do just that. It also gives us a chance to make friends, share someones problems and give them advice if necessary.

I really liked the blog on Final Diagnosis, I think we have all faced such a situation sometime in life. Via this medium we can become informed patients, and use our common sense. After all its a life in question.

Haseenas blog on forgiveness really did make me think. I reflected on all the people I held things against, and it helped me take stock of the situation. My hatred wasnt really getting me anywhere.

The various blogs on divorce, separation and the trauma that separated women go through, are something I identify with. I am in the same boat. Im sure there are many women out there who are in a similar situation, and I hope by connecting on Womens Blog we can form a sort of support system for each other.

This may be a kind of longish blog, but Ive just poured my thoughts out, hoping other women will come forward and together we can become a powerful force in society.
