A girl was pregnant, she informed her husband on phone while she was made to stay at her parents place due to inlaws problems, hey I m pregnant, it was moment of joy, excitement, suddenly the man who was not even able to connect to his wife due to his dominating & ever hovering over mother became a true man somebody his wife carved for him to be..hey you don t mention anything to anybody as yet I ll inform my mother you don t-girl pleaded knowing her totally non-supportive inlaws-she ll be blamed-but he insisted-as usual she waited, had faith on him as everybody preaches in India for girls to, No phone call came, agin she waited no phone call came, she called, hey what happened...oh I was buisy he said, but she knew him, his mother could nt allow him the liberty of being father which will take hi out of her hands. Hey I want to come back to my house-he said why- she was shocked. Eventually she went-pleaded, cried & apologised to her mother-in-law for being pregnant without her permision. Fifth month of pegnancy even after regular requests & pleading none neither her husband or her inlaws were ready to take her to a gyno-with reason -in our family ladies used to go to gyno s only at the time of delivery-girls parents intervened-please let us take our daughter to a doctor-They were told, Do that & then you can keep your daughter with you for whole of her life-in the meanwhile suddenly one day when her mother-in-law was screaming & abusing her for not taking care of the house & not doing household work, due to all this pressure bleeding started, eventually with bessings of god, somekindness was showered on the giirl & she was taken to a doctor-where first thing she was asked by the doctor-Are you illeterate? uneducated? all this time the husband only told the girl he is """Buisy""" He went abroad later. Girl was all alone at her inlaws place for rest of the time. A beautiful girl came to this world, all healthy & smiling, no her father was not their for delivery...to be contd. Girl repeatedly requested her mother in law when she was taken to hospital for delivery for informing to her parents which she was declined. Her father in law intervened he informed them. Husband arrives from abroad after a day or so, he is restricted at the airport itself by his mother to not to visit his wife, girls father who also went to recieve his so called son-inlaw requested & pleaded to his son-in-law & his mother to please let father of the child to meet her & his wife. Eventually gentleman reaches hospital takes one look at the baby & smiles at his wife & leaves with his mother. days pass no one turns up neither girls husband & neither inlaws. One day after again series of apologies & pleading father-inlaw & girls husband turn up but refuse to take girl & the child with them to house since motherinlaw has restricted them. girl takes child & goes with her parents to her inlaws place. yes childs eyes do welcome & make heart of father smile but only when in 2 to 3 days he came to take some of his things from bedroom where girl was with the child. ..contd years pass...girl who was timid & don t have the words to state her state after becoming a mother decided it was enough, she started speaking, she went to some influential ladies, who have contributed a lot to women welfare, things improved. months passed, girl was again pregnant, husband was with her this time..went with her to doctor-this was the time hen he went to doctor with the girl not the first time, when their first daughter was born. But due to some unfortunate circumstances & accident child could nt see light of the day. Qoute """Was I ever indifferent to children? In my present state of bliss, the very thought seems totally farfetched! I can t ever imagine life without my baby!""" where is the child? with him or her mother? quote """You might say that it was after all only what any woman went through, but, to me it was special because this was my wife and I felt a responsibility that I<
