If you are a woman and you are managing a home based business, believe me, you better learn to wear many hats at the same time. I know from experience, its not easy, but again, I can tell you from experience, that it is great! Working out of home not only offers you flexibility in terms of time, or you can actually put in more hours if required. Its all very fluid.
But what I like best about my home based business is that I can add multiple streams of income. Yes, I am running a boutique, but I have made value additions by adding certain services like tailoring, embroidery and accessories. I have also tied up with someone who does the finishing for all the sarees bought in my boutique. This way if my main business selling ensembles/sarees doesnt always do well, I know I can still make money. I suggest this to all my friends. Start with one business and find other avenues to make sure your income keeps flowing in anyway. After all, everyone knows, more is better.You dont need to restrict yourself. Starting a business is all about growth after all.
