After two days of downpour in the city, the sky was again bright and Olive celebrated its first anniversary at the Mahalaxmi Race course. Guests enjoyed this Sunday brunch with high spirits. Mostly people dressed in various shades and tints of yellows, it seemed they just wanted to come out of the dull mood of pouring Mumbai. We hope to keep up the buzz in future and look forward to your support as always. "The soiree kicked off at about 2pm with a host of regulars as well as a few surprise guests. Anil Dharkar was the first to walk in and he stayed for a fair bit. The self-proclaimed Party Animal Kishin Mulchandani made his presence felt with his latest gossips. We also spotted Tara Sharma, Shenaaz Tresurywala, Nonita Kalra, Rajiv Samant and Rahul da Cunhainteracting with other guests. Tina Tahiliani Parikhbreezed in and out quickly, in a matter of few minutes. Amrita Arora made her appearance with her husband Shakeel and mother. Needless to say Amrita looked quite stunning in bright red, long Hawaiian dress. The model brigade sparkled the afternoon. Amrit Maghera appeared in ochre coloured long satin dress, apparently longer than her height also which kept her one hand busy holding it while walking. Nethra with beau Pratap Raju, Lisa Haydon and a few Brazilian butterflies added style and fun to the afternoon with their little dresses and high heels. Arti and Kailash Surendra nath, Gautam and Pratima Bhatia, Daniel Shah and I vana Perovic, Jaideep and Seema Mehrotra, Karan Bhojwani, Aditya and Divya Hitkari, Sameer and Palak Sheth, Nari and Kadambari, Nikhil and Natasha Chib, Amitabh and Akanksha Nanda with their son kept the place buzzing. Nevertheless Rajesh Kohliand Anil Choprawere missing their better halves but had a great time socializing with friends. Pravina and Jamal Mecklai were the first to hit the dance floor which was specially set up for the occasion. Dressed up in florals they seemed enjoying the music the most and lost in themselves. Ashish Raheja was in his own world, one of the Brazilian models was his flavour of the day Salsa was it, or possibly Cha Cha Cha, not too sure he could make out the difference.
