VENTHAYA KALI or Fenugreek halwa
Raw Rice-1 cup,Boiled Rice - a handfull,Urad dhall - A handfull,Fenugreek seed - a handfull.Palm sugar (panai vellam or karupatti) - 2 cup
1.Except palm sugar soak all the ingredients overnight (more than eight hours)2.grind the soaked things nicely as (dhosa batter)3.In a heavy bottom kadai put palm sugar and just add litte water to sink palm sugar.Allow sugar to dissolve completely.After boiling filter the palm sugar( paku in tamil)4.Then pour this palm solution in a heavy bottom kadai.add grind battar to this .string continuosly and pour oil(gingely oil is best) without (leaving your hands).5.It comes into thick consistency.It leave out from side of vessel.6.then pour this into a vessel.allow it to cool completely.CONSUME THIS DELICIOUS HEALTHY FOOD
It reduces body heat.It takes during summer season.Avoid during rainy season. can give above 1 1/2 years baby ( Give half cup)
