Which of you wouldn't like to hold on to your youth forever? The best way one can go about it is to take extra care of your skin. A neglected skin ages faster. And no amount of make up can repair the ravages of time. The point is    don't wait until you start wrinkling, before you decide to do all you can for your skin. What are the things one needs to keep in mind during skin care?
  • The genetic factor does play its part. Take a good look at your family    men included. Does your mother look significantly older than her friends? Has your grandfather aged well? They could have passed on their genes to you. Compare your skin with theirs. Whose skin type have you got?
  • Your skin needs certain vitamins to keep it rejuvenated. Have you been feeding your skin all the right stuff? A lack of nutrients also hastens the ageing process.
  • Have you used the appropriate products to keep your skin supple and soft? Even good skin can get weather beaten with neglect.
  • Water keeps your skin hydrated. Deficiency of water can have your skin looking lack lustre and parched.
  • Smoking can age your skin faster than anything else. It also hurts the capillaries in your face.
  • Drinking too much alcohol can leave you looking haggard. Alcohol works as a diuretic and leaves your system dehydrated.
  • Stress shows immediately on your face. Not only does it wipe your smile away, it also brings about little frown lines and wrinkles. The healthy pink glow will fade away, having you look pale and pinched.
It's never too early to start caring for your skin.
