Given below and some tips and guidelines that one must follow for great nature pictures and picturesque photography. These tips will help you to capture the best of wildlife photography in the most beautiful angles.

  • Pay attention to light: select places that have a classic combination of light, color (shadow) and texture. The best phases of the day when the sunlight is at most radiance is morning hours warmer, yellow. Whereas, during evening the color of the natural light changes to shades of red to full red. For getting wonderful contrasts between the real image and its shadow, try clicking pictures during noon. Areas where the amount of pollution is high, such combinations are a rarely seen. Thus, one may have to wait for the rainy season when rain brings down the level of pollution and smoke in the air and makes the air clean. Owing to this, the rainy season is perhaps some of the most important days in photography.
  • Check unexplored perspectives: before capturing a natural element, scrutinize it closely and look into all its parts thoroughly. This will give you an idea of what should you capture in the image. Look at each scene from many angles. Sometimes what does not appeal from one angle may look stupendous from another angle.
  • Don’t always position your main subject in the centre of the image. Try new locations and place the main object on the corners, or little away from the centre of the frame. This way you’ll add a completely different visual appeal to your natural photography.
  • Give your pictures little depth, especially when you try to capture waterfalls, rivers or moving objects in the frame. Try to fit both closer objects and distant objects smartly in one picture. Blending both far-away things with some closely placed things in one picture imparts depth to it and makes your photography more appealing.
  • Capture your main objects through many angles. Wait for still moments and then for windy moments. Capture the object under all possible scenarios. This helps you to decide the best picture from a plenty of them and will also give you more exposure on how to capture correctly for the next object.
  • Try using a tripod stand while capturing nature. A tripod stand helps in making the camera still and ensures that the camera does not move while clicking photos. With the help of a tripod stand, both your hands are free thus, you can make use of both the hands to focus the lens, the aperture of the camera, etc. so that you capture the object in the most fascinating expressions and add life to your photography.
