Hair this season is big and fluffy, ultra feminine. It is all about volume and lots of it. Celebrate the summer with flowing mane that cascades down your shoulders. Hair stylists both in India and on the International ramps are talking about loose flowing waves. Stylists have armed themselves with curling irons, rollers and volumising mousse to give you wave after wave of sensual hair.
Finally this season, the hair experts have freed the normal women from the slavery to too many styling products and tools. They are playing with your natural hair textures. Even if you need to go with styling tools and products to get your results, then avoid being too methodical about it. Just twirl and curl random pieces to get tousled waves.
Says stylist Avleen Khokhar, "Long hair is more natural now. Instead of using too many styling products or chemicals, let your hair free to follow its own fall. Let it be straight, wavy, curly or full. Play up your hair's best features."
Simply put it means that if you have wavy hair, try combing in some leave in conditioner through wet hair, scrunch it and finger dry it naturally. This will enhance your hair's natural fall. Let it sway on its natural movement that is sexy and stylish this season. If you have very curly hair then don't brush it dry, rake it with your fingers to get a more natural look.
Soft, swirling, face-framing waves can make any haircut or length go from frumpy to fantastic. Unlike straight hair, a loose set of waves looks very natural. Big relaxed curls are in.
Keeping your hair very clean before starting on your waves. Hairsprays and too much styling products is not suitable for Indian hair especially as the weather gets warmer. They make the hair sticky and limp. A little blob of volumising mousse is all that you need to get undulating waves. Apply some curl enhancing cream or mousse through your wet hair from root to tips and then gently twist it around your fingers, as it dries. Now flip your hair back and blow dry for a few minutes and you are hair set to go.
To play up the new trend, simply use a curling iron or Velcro rollers on the ends of your hair, going up about three fourths and then using a light weight spray on them. Release the curls and loosen them with your finger. This style looks great on medium length hair with one or two layers framing the face.
So go ahead let your waves cascade.
