A simple hairstyle like long beachy waves look really sophisticated on some women and a disaster on other. This usually happens because of the shape of a woman`s face. Heart-shaped face
This face shape has a wider top and a narrow jaw line which can make one look heavy on the upper side of her face. To create and maintain a perfect balance, women with this face shape go for side swept bangs. As for the length of the hair is concerned, women could prefer long waves, straights, shoulder-length or any other. 

Sideswept bangs tend to draw focus away from the wide forehead and towards the eyes making one look pretty. However, one shouldn`t let her stylist cut the bangs too short. Bangs should never be cut when the hair is wet as it tends to shrink a bit when dry. Long hair on long face makes the face look more dragged down, so one should get chin-length bobs. They add volume to the face with an illusion of width. A-line long bobs also look gorgeous but one must ensure that the back of the hair must be one and a half inch shorter than the front length.

Round face
Round faces look superbly great when outlined with long layered hair. Women with round faces should avoid short layers as they tend to make the face rounder. Long layers with the first one hitting next to the earlobe flatter the round face. Gentle waves look good on round faces and one can get them by simply tying her hair with a scrunchie while it dries naturally. Sideswept bangs also do wonders for round faces; however, one must avoid bangs if her hair is not straight. One must also not get a haircut that leaves hair above the chin.

Oval face
Those who have oval shaped faces are the luckiest women in the world. They can flaunt around any hairstyle they want irrespective of the length, cut, wavy, curly, straight – just about anything looks good on them. The best hairstyle, however, is long layered straight hair with the first layer near lips or chin.
