Checks look good on Girls

Girls have made a perception that checks are the prints for boys and designer prints are for them. However, this is not justified because checks are always in demand within girls minutely. Because checks design on the attires have a unique ability of making someone look fat, thin or tall or short just by the mere change in the pattern of the check.

Checks are traditionally associated with Scotland where woven died wool used to be the principle attire at one time. Basically, checks are associated with a specific area as opposed to the tartan of a family or clan. The check pattern is also used as distinctive pattern for woven cloth in modern designs. The word check is also extracted from a Persian word ‘shah’; hence it is proved that it is a royal print for an outfit whether for males or females.

As we all know that check is the print consisted of horizontal and vertical lines. However, horizontal lines are considered for making the wearer look broad, whereas vertical prints make the person look tall. Therefore, check prints balances the look of a person. Checks also defines the shape; if they are big in blocks then the wearer would look big and if these are small then the wearer will look less than the original shape. That is why girls can easily expand or retract their shapes with the classy looking and royal check print. Many schools have opted checks as the prime pattern of their uniforms, for example Ryan International Schools, JBM Global Schools and many more.

There could me many sorts of attires available for girls in check patterns, like:

Skirts
Shirts
Tops
Scarves
Trousers
Hipsters
One pieces
Tube dresses
Tube tops
Designer tops
Saris

Apart from this, check pattern can be applied to almost all types of attires. Check is such a pattern that goes with informal as well as formal clothing. It looks classy and neat, it can easily hide marks of stain or any imperfection.

Check pattern was initially being opted in the 19th century in India. Then the demand was low as the new patterns and designs dropped in. Further, it again sprouted up in the collections of various designers, especially with formal wears. Now, its use has been grown to a vast gamut of attires’ principle. It is being chosen by many for its comfort, stain friendliness and hide from imperfections. Checks can easily convert any flaw of stitching or designing to an innovation, as these are considered as rough and tough patterns. In spite of being imperfect, these always look perfect on the wearer as the pattern fits any shape very decently.

As per my research, I have seen a big boom in the usage of check patterns amongst youngsters for both formal and informal wears. However, these are extensively accepted by the professionals for formal skirts and dresses.
