Back pain has become a common problem nowadays. The people suffering from back pain are increasing so much that this has become one of the major concern of the doctors. However if you are aware of the specific conditions of back pain you may avoid these back pain.Acute mechanical back pain is one of the specific conditions of back pain. If you are having pain continuously for 4 to 6 weeks in the spinal cord, joints, soft tissues and discs then you may be having an acute mechanical back pain.

Usually this type of pain is common with those people who are suffering from trauma or are sitting on the chairs for long hours together. In most of the times it is difficult to find out the source of pain. Sometimes the pain originates in the back and radiates through the knees and thighs. Back strains and sprains is another specific conditions of back pain. You may have strain due to injury in tendon or muscles. During strains in your muscles youe ligaments, tendons or even muscles may get twisted or torn. If your ligament is torn then you may have pain. Such conditions are usually known as sprain. If you have back strains or sprains then you have to undergo tremendous pain which becomes more severe when you try to move. You may also experience muscle contraction accompanied with pain. You may also encouter difficulty in walking, bending or even standing erect. Back strain or sprain are common with people who are over weight. Sports person often suffers due to back strains and sprains.

Facet joint syndrome is regarded as one of the specific conditions of back pain. Facet joints acts as a connecting link between the vertebrae and helps in moving the spinal cord. The facet joints performs more or less the same function as that of the other joints in your body. If you are experiencing pain for long which increases with twisting your body then you are suffering probably due to facet joint syndrome. This type of back pain is accompanied with neck pain, shoulder pain and headaches. The patient may face difficulty in rotating the head and tend to become stiff. If you are having back pain, pain in your shoulders and hips which have made you stiff then there is a possibility of sacroilitis, one of the most specific conditions of back pain. If a patient is suffering from sacroilitis then he may have inflammation. Even the nervous system, lungs, heart, kidney, eyes, skin and blood vessels are affected by sacroilitis. If sacroilitis is not detected at an early stage then you may face severe consequences in the future.

Much of these problems can be avoided if you are well aware of the specific conditions of back pain and take necessary precautions in the onitial stage.
